Theater Lighting Supervisor/ Associate Technical Director

Tree has been with CC Drama/ Dance Dept since 2003. Just before that she worked for several years at the Pikes Peak Center and Toured with Sesame Street Live from 1995-2000 and also has been an officer in the Stagehand Union for over a decade now. She has been the Tech. Director for Opera Theater of the Rockies for nearly 10 years in a row. More recently, she has been Freelancing, together with her full time position at Colorado College, in Lighting Design for Dance. Her areas of expertise are in Programming, Lighting Design, Rigging for Theatre and she regularly does production work with a variety of venues. Tree enjoys working with students and teaches them to use their own creativity mixed with the technical programming knowledge of Lighting for the Stage. The new CAC building has opened up many doors in advanced Lighting Control Technologies and the possibilities have become endless in this specific area of study.
